Weather Waterproofing

Weather Waterproofing refers to the process of protecting structures and surfaces from the harmful effects of weather, such as rain, snow, wind, and temperature fluctuations. It involves creating a barrier that prevents moisture from penetrating the structure and causing damage
Types of Weather Waterproofing:
Membrane Waterproofing
This method involves applying a flexible membrane to the terrace surface to create a barrier against water infiltration.Membranes can be made of various materials, such as PVC, EPDM, or butyl rubber.Highly durable, resistant to chemicals, and easy to install.
Cementitious Coating
A cementitious coating is applied to the terrace surface to create a durable, waterproof layer. Can be monolithic or composite. Durable, resistant to chemicals, and can be applied to various surfaces.
Injection Grouting
A waterproofing material is injected into cracks and joints to seal them and prevent water infiltration. Can be chemical-based or cementitious. Effective for addressing leaks in specific areas, particularly cracks and joints.
Drainage Systems
Drainage systems are installed around the terrace to collect and divert water away from the structure. Can include French drains, sump pumps, or swales. Helps to prevent water buildup and reduce the risk of water damage.
Waterproofing Admixtures
Waterproofing admixtures are added to the concrete mix used to construct the terrace to improve its water resistance. Can be a cost-effective solution for new construction projects.
